Educational course
"Robot-assisted surgery in gynecology"
March 18-22, 2024

About

Nowadays, progress in medical technology dictates the terms. As modern technologies are becoming an integral part of everyday practice, it is no longer enough for a surgeon to be able to hold the scalpel correctly or skillfully suture a wound. The da Vinci robot-assisted surgical system is a prime example of the integration of technology into medical practice. Thus, continuing education is an integral part of the modern doctor's work.

The course on robotic surgery in gynecology, provided by a team of doctors with the greatest experience in robotic-assisted gynecological procedures in Russia, is based on this belief. This course is for those who want to keep up with an ever-changing world and advance in their surgical practice.
Program

Reviews
  • Skachkov Nikolay Nikolaevich
Candidate of Medical Sciences, obstetrician-gynecologist, CDC "Zdorove" (Rostov-on-Don, Russia)
The course was really interesting and useful. It is designed for an audience with both minimal experience and advanced robot skills. Alexander Anatolyevich and his team prepared an excellent set of operations. There was an opportunity to observe the work of the MONIIAG team live and participate in surgical interventions, and the docking of the da Vinci system. Despite the fact that I have experience in performing robotic operations, I received a lot of new and useful information, and practical experience.
  • Gvozdev Mikhail Yurievich
Doctor-urogynecologist, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Urology, Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry. A.I. Evdokimova (Moscow, Russia)
I love learning, and it is pointless to deny and avoid progress. The epitome of progress in medicine is the da Vinci robotic system. The problem is that even if you want to learn, there is not always someone to learn from. That is why the course from Professor Popov and his team is so valuable. And if I had to give one piece of advice it would be - get to it - study, study and study. After all, those unique manual skills that you get here, will be 100% useful in your further practice.
  • Melnikov Mikhail Viktorovich
Head of Clinical Work of the Surgical Department of the NMRC for obstetrics, gynecology and perinatology named after V.I.Kulakov, Ph.D., surgeon (Moscow)
With а 30-years of practical experience behind my back, I can say that working on da Vinci is a good and promising idea. It is very valuable to practice on the course under the guidance of Professor Alexander Anatolyevich Popov, an iconic person in gynecology, to watch how he does it. We work in one direction, problems that he solves are my daily work. Just a wonderful surgeon, a close-minded person, a communicator. The practice in the telecommunication center "MPA Medical Partners" was at the highest level.
  • Kolesnikova Elena Petrovna
Gynecologist of the highest category, Department of Gynecology of the "Neftyanik" hospital (Tyumen, Russia)
The course turned out to be comprehensive and balanced: we gained theoretical knowledge through a well-organized set of lectures, were able to discuss nuances with the experts of MONIIAG and immediately had an opportunity to apply knowledge in practice. This is especially valuable, because many theoretical points often need to be felt in the operating room, directly on the system. I would like to express my deep gratitude to Professor Popov and his team, the organizers of this course.
